World Trade Center Atlanta announced last week the launching of “On-line Discussion Forum,” a new Web site service that allows both members and non-members of WTC to hold virtual meetings any time and anywhere, said Dex Shi, chief moderator for the center’s forum.
The forum can be found at http://gcg.measy-communication.com/phpBB2.
WTC members can post, read and reply to topics while non-members can only read and reply.
Among the forums currently available are on the site are the China Business Alliance Forum, UK Business and Cultural Forum, America’s Business Forum and Jobs/Job Seekers Forum.
Each forum handles multiple topics, Dr. Shi said. For example, topics on the China Business Alliance Forum include “A consortium of Chinese companies seeking outsource projects” and “Chinese companies seeking marketing partner in the U.S.”
The forum will be locally based at first, though it is expectedto expand gradually to service some 300 WTC centers in almost 100 countries, said Mr. Shi.
The forum is managed by the Moderator Committee of Atlanta’s WTC.
