ACIR presents – Alan Elsner: J Street and the Fight for the Two-State Solution

Luncheon and Discussion
The two-state solution envisages two independent states – Palestine and Israel. Noted in UN General Assembly Resolution 181 (II) in November 1947, the two-state solution often has been a major focus on efforts to achieve peace between Israel and the Palestinians for over 80 years. Yet all attempts to achieve such a solution have failed. Come hear Alan Elsner, special advisor to the president of J-Street, provide his views on efforts to achieve peace between Palestinians and Israelis through a two-state solution.
About J-Street: J Street is the political home for pro-Israel, pro-peace Americans who want Israel to be secure, democratic and the national home of the Jewish people. Working in American politics and the Jewish community, J Street is an advocate for policies that advance shared US and Israeli interests as well as Jewish and democratic values, leading to a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
