Indonesia-USA Business Forum Featuring Ambassador Mahendra Siregar

Join the Embassy of Indonesia in Washington, the Consulate General of Indonesia in Houston and representatives of the Indonesian-American Chamber of Commerce for a half-day forum in Atlanta focused on business, trade and investment opportunities with Southeast Asia’s most populous nation and the world’s third-largest democracy.

His Excellency Ambassador Mahendra Siregar will provide a keynote speech to kick off the event, followed by:

• Dwityapoetra S. Besar Chief Representative of Bank Indonesia New York
• Billy Anugrah Director of Indonesian Trade Promotion Center, Chicago
• Representatives of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce – USA Committee

Attendees will hear testimonials from Atlanta-based companies operating in Indonesia and have a chance to meet with visiting Indonesian companies seeking tangible partnerships in the following industries:

• Coal/Energy
• Edutainment/Publishing
• Automotive/Parts

The morning forum will be followed by a luncheon catered by WIN Indonesian Grill and Gastrobar, featuring a Global Atlanta-led interview with both Ambassador Siregar and Consul General Dr. Nana Yuliana from Houston. The diplomats will be the latest guests during a special edition of the publication’s ongoing Consular Conversations series.

The forum and luncheon are complimentary, but registration is required by Sept. 30. Other organizing partners include Miller & Martin, Metro Atlanta Chamber and the Indonesian Diaspora Business Council.

9:45-10 a.m. — Presentation by Dwityapoetra S. Besar, Chief Representative of Bank of Indonesia in New York

10-10:15 — Presentation by Billy Anugrah, Director of Indonesian Trade Promotion Center, Chicago

10:30-11:30 — Presentations by Atlanta businesspeople working in Indonesia, as well as opportunities to meet with visiting Indonesian delegates.

11:30-12 — Q&A

LUNCH

12 p.m. — Start of networking end educational lunch, catered by WIN Indonesian Grill and Gastrobar

12:30 p.m. — Consular Conversation luncheon interview with both Ambassador Siregar and Consul General Nana Yuliana, facilitated by Global Atlanta Managing Editor Trevor Williams
