Consular Conversations: Greece Consul Luncheon

Join Global Atlanta on November 17 for a discussion with Theodoros Dimopoulos, Consul of Greece in Atlanta, Georgia.
The discussion will include a one-on-one conversation with the Global Atlanta editorial team, followed by a moderated audience Q&A. A follow-up of the event will be published in an article following the discussion.
This event will take place in person at Miller & Martin, and after the event, Consular Conversations Annual Pass holders will have access to the recording of the discussion. For public health and safety reasons, everyone attending in person must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and wear masks during event.

About the Speaker:

Theodoros Dimopoulos has been serving as the Consul of Greece in Atlanta since November 2020. He oversees the relations between Greece and four southeastern states (Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee).

2015: joined the Foreign Service
2015 – 2016: Attaché of Embassy in A5 Directorate for Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Caucasus, Black Sea countries and Central Asia
2016 – 2017: serving in the cabinet of the Secretary General of the MFA
2017: promoted to third Secretary of Embassy
2017 – 2020: Consul in the Consulate General of Greece in Moscow and Deputy Head of Mission
2020: promoted to Second Secretary of Embassy
November 2020 – : Consul of Greece in Atlanta, GA
