On December 22, 2017, President Trump signed the “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act” into law, marking the most consequential tax reform legislation in the U.S. in three decades. Most notably, it introduces a reduction in the corporate tax rate, new tax brackets for individuals, and a repeal of the corporate Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT).
But these changes are just a few of many that make up the over $1 Trillion tax cut plan.
