The Georgia Diversity Council has recognized the senior vice president of human resources for the farm equipment manufacturer AGCO Corp. as one of the most influential women in Georgia.
Lucinda Smith received the award on Sept. 29 at the Georgia Leadership Conference, where Georgia professionals are recognized for their achievements.
As senior vice president since 2009, Ms. Smith handles human resources for AGCO’s operations worldwide. Headquartered in Duluth, the company has offices around the world and sells its products in 140 countries.
Ms. Smith joined AGCO in 2006 as the director of organizational development and compensation. She previously served as the global director of human resources for the food products marketer AJC International Inc.
