AirServ Corp., an Atlanta-based company that provides aviation support services to airlines in the United States and England plans to expand even further into Europe, said Frank A. Argenbright Jr., the company’s founder and chairman.
“We want to go to Germany second and France third,” Mr. Argenbright told GlobalAtlanta in a recent interview.
AirServ provides cargo handling, passenger, transportation, and security services, including baggage handling, cabin cleaning and skycap to airlines at 19 airports in the U. S., as well as Manchester International and BAA Heathrow airports in England.
The company is currently bidding on contracts to extend its services to Frankfurt International Airport in Germany, Roissy-Charles de Gaulle International Airport and Orly Airport in Paris, France, he said.
Mr. Argenbright founded the company in May 2002 and wants to regain a customer base that he spent 20 years cultivating while running Aviation Defense International Group, a similar aviation support services company that he sold in December 2000.
“I like to call it a new company with an old history,” Mr. Argenbright said, citing that while running ADI, he worked with airlines in most of Europe.
Mr. Argenbright also founded Secure America in January, a company that manages security officers, security officer companies and warehouse protective security in Florida, Georgia and Virginia.
