The Atlanta Development Authority has hired William C. Cronin as vice president of economic development.
Mr. Cronin most recently was division director of global business development with the South Carolina Department of Commerce during which time the department recruited more than $14.6 billion in capital investment.
Before joining the South Carolina department he was in charge of the field operations of the international trade and business development unit of Enterprise Florida, a public-private partnership serving the state’s economic development.
The Atlanta Development Authority is the economic development agency for the city of Atlanta focused on residential, business and investment growth.
