Atlanta-based Accurate Software Inc. (ASI) seeks to find 15 U.S. clients and generate $1 million of revenue by March 31, 2000, marking its first fiscal year of business here, according to Gary Gibbs, the company’s CEO and president.

A subsidiary of U.K.-based Accurate Software Ltd., which was founded in 1992, ASI was launched this year to develop the U.S. market as its parent has Europe.

As a commercial ally of NatWest Bank, the U.K.’s leading provider for corporate banking services to medium and larger firms, Accurate Software quickly established its reputation as a source of leading edge banking software solutions.

Through a similar relationship with National Australia Bank, Accurate Software also has penetrated the Australian market.

“Any company that has a requirement to cut both time and costs through automatically reconciliating data is a potential client,” Mr. Gibbs told GlobalFax in an interview downtown.

Accurate’s global client list includes banks and financial institutions but also companies such as British Airways, The Gap, and Heinz Australia and many others spanning all market sectors.

Mr. Gibbs credited the company’s success to its development of cutting-edge software for PC-based reconciliation systems as companies were becoming less dependent on mainframe systems.
