CDC Mobile, a division of Atlanta-based software provider CDC Corp., is developing mobile applications for Ying Kou City Police Department and Jin Zhou City Education Department in China.

The company is developing a text-messaging system for mobile subscribers that will sound an alarm in the Ying Kou City Police Department when subscribers send out an alert message.

For the Jin Zhou City Education Department, CDC Mobile is developing a text messaging system that will send out important education related messages, including test scores, to the city’s tens of thousands of students.

CDC Corp. owns a family of companies that work in China including CDC Software, CDC Mobile, CDC Games, which features online games and Inc. that operates Internet portals in the country.
