Tamer Cavusgil, director of the Institute of International Business at the Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University, is to speak about the state of emerging markets during the current economic downturn on Wednesday, May 6, from 6-8 p.m. at the World Trade Center Atlanta.
David Bruce, who also is a professor at the Institute of International Business; Ritesh Desai, president of the Georgia Indo-America Chamber of Commerce and Viren Mayani, co-chair of the board of directors of the Georgia-Indo chamber, are to join Dr. Cavusgil in the discussion about the economies of Brazil, Russia, India and China.
Prior to the May 1 deadline, the cost of attendance is $15 for members of the Brazilian American Chamber of Commerce, the World Trade Center, the World Chamber of Commerce and the Georgia-Indo chamber, and for non-members, $25.
