Sitel Worldwide, which is privately held and majority owned by Onex Corp., a diversified Canadian company, is looking to hire 200 customer service employees at its Augusta call center.

The new hires are to join 800 employees providing domestic customer care support for a Fortune 500 wireless provider and a major health care company.

Phil Madden, Sitel’s Augusta site director, said in a news release that the company has positions available from entry level to managerial.

The facilities services include billing, account records management, technical support and customer service.

An on-site job fair is to be held on Thursday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the company’s facility at 2115 Windsor Spring Road in Augusta. Prospective clients also can apply online in the “careers” section of Sitel’s website at www.sitel.com

According to the release, Sitel provides a benefits package to its employees after 90 days of employment including medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid vacation and holiday time and bonus and incentive opportunities.
