Robert Jones, a U.S. commercial officer stationed in the Dominican Republic, will offer one-on-one advice March 5 in Savannah to companies interested in exporting to the Caribbean.
Mr. Jones will speak at 9 a.m. at the Savannah Business Resource Center, 111 East Liberty St. He will then provide individual export counseling until 3 p.m. The fee is $20 by credit card online. Register here.

The Caribbean is the third largest market for U.S. exports in Latin America, behind Mexico and Brazil, according to the U.S. Commercial Service. The United States has a Free Trade Agreement with the Dominican Republic. More than 80 percent of manufactured goods enter the Dominican Republic duty free.
