E. Neville Isdell, former chairman and CEO of the Coca-Cola Co., is to discuss his newly published memoir, “Inside Coca-Cola: A CEO’s Life Story of Building the World’s Most Popular Brand”, on Monday evening, Nov. 21, at the Carter Center.
The World Affairs Council of Atlanta is hosting the event for the book signing with doors opening at 5 p.m., the discussion starting at 6 p.m. to be followed by the signing.
Inside Coca-Cola, written by Mr. Isdell and Atlanta journalist David Beasley, describes Mr. Isdell’s rise from a manager trainee at a two-truck depot in Zambia to Coke’s chairman and CEO.
Mr. Isdell retired in 2009 after more than 30 years of working for the company. His account includes his experiences around the world including Australia, Northern Ireland, the Philippines, Russia, Germany, India and Turkey.
The World Affairs Council of Atlanta is a non-partisan organization affiliated with Georgia State University, the J. Mack Robinson College of Business and the World Affairs Councils of America.
