Matthew Hodes, director of the Carter Center‘s conflict resolution program is to discuss the recent events in Liberia in the context of modern peacekeeping operations at the Atlanta Council on International Relations luncheon, Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the Capital City Club.

Mr. Hodes has worked in positions related to peacekeeping and post-conflict operations at the United Nations in New York, as well as various posts in Bosnia, Somalia and Yugoslavia.

He has also worked as a prosecutor and criminal defense lawyer in Florida.
