The Coca?Cola Company opened this week three new bottling and distribution centers in the Polish cities of Niepolomice, Sroda Slaska and Lodz. The three facilities represent an investment of $150 million and bring the total number of plants for Coca?Cola in Poland to seven.
Over the past three years, Coca?Cola has invested $314 million in Poland including bottling and distribution operations in Gdynia, Bydgoszcz, Radzymin and Warsaw. The Niepolomice and Sroda Slaska facilities are 100% owned by the company. Lodz Coca?Cola Bottlers Ltd. is a joint venture majority?owned by the Austria?based bottler, BB AG.
The Coca?Cola system in Poland also operates 20 distribution centers which reach more than 50,000 retail customers, the company reports.
