Atlanta-based Docufree, which helps businesses manage their digital documents and information flow, is expanding into Guatemala via a local partnership with Allied Global.

Allied is based in the capital, Guatemala City, and is slated to offer Docufree’s cloud-based solutions to its customer throughout the country, where it employs more than 2,000 people across five call centers.

Allied also lives up to the latter half of its name, with offices in the Philippines, Mexico and Honduras, providing nearshoring capabilities like call centers, apps and technology management through a dedicated technology services arm.

CTO Oscar Garcia said the partnership with Docufree will help Allied Global offer greater scale to clients as it expands globally.

“It will also help us create digital, information-driven environments for our customers, where entire organizations can better access documents and improve workflow automation to deliver the right information to the right people—where and when they need it,” Mr. Garcia said in a news release.

Based in Roswell, Docufree was founded in 1999 and has more than 1,000 clients using its document-scanning, electronic-signature and document-management systems.
