A German die-making company has announced plans to invest $6 million to establish a factory and its North American headquarters in Dublin, Ga., according to the Georgia Department of Economic Development.

Aue, Germany-based AWEBA Group will lease a 30,000-square-foot facility to produce tools and dies for the U.S., Canadian and Mexican markets. The company plans to create 52 jobs in five years. 

“The close proximity to our clients, the highly qualified labor force and the excellent training programs clearly identified Dublin as the ideal location for our new facility,” Udo Binder, CEO of AWEBA, said in a news release.
