Book Launch Event: “On Mullingar Hill” by Dr. Joyce Flueckigar

Join the Indian American Cultural Association (IACA) for the Atlanta book launch of On Mullingar Hill: Memory, Movement, and Belonging in a Himalayan Hill Station — a memoir of place, people, and the many ways we return home.
Author Dr. Joyce Flueckiger, a scholar of religion and South Asian studies who grew up in Mussoorie, brings deep insight into the everyday lives, faiths, and cultures of the subcontinent. Her work centers vernacular traditions, gendered experience, and the stories that shape communities.
She will be in conversation with Jyothsna Hegde, journalist, women’s empowerment advocate, and community builder, for a discussion on memory, belonging, and the landscapes that shape us.
