Terry McAuliffe is the former governor of Virginia, an entrepreneur and businessman, and the former Chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC). As Chairman of the DNC, McAuliffe raised more than $1 billion for the Democratic Party.
In the wake of the tragic events in Charlottesville in 2017, Governor McAuliffe has written a book reflecting on what could have been done differently to deter the violence and proposes ways the nation can confront its history of extremism.
