Judge Navanethem Pillay: Reflections on the International Human Rights System

The Center for International and Comparative Law of Emory University School of Law is pleased to present two distinguished speakers in a summit of ground-breaking international law jurists during the fall of 2016.
Judge Navanethem Pillay (South Africa) will be the series’ first speaker at 12:00 p.m. on October 17. Judge Navanethem was formerly the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. She previously served as judge on the International Criminal Court and was once on the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Her lecture will be titled “Reflections on the International Human Rights System” and will be delivered in Tull Auditorium, Gambrell Hall at 1301 Clifton Road, Atlanta.
