About our speaker:
Flora Leah Venegas Corrales, was born in San José, Costa Rica.
Mrs. Venegas is a Lawyer and career diplomat occupying the rank of Minister Counselor.
She is a lawyer, graduated with honors from the most prestigious University in Costa Rica (Universidad de Costa Rica) and practiced law for six years in Costa Rica before entering the professional diplomatic service. She also has a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and studied international negotiation, trade and business. As a Diplomat, she has served as an International Cooperation Department officer, as Consul in Miami, Consul in David, Panama, and Chief of Immunities and Privileges for Foreign Missions. She also served as a Professor of the International Affair School of Universidad Nacional in Costa Rica. Today she manages cases from Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
