Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) & Privacy Shield Seminar

Beginning in May 2018, any entities that collect, process, and/or store personal data from EU residents must comply with the EU data privacy legislation. Join  the U.S. Department of Commerce – U.S. Commercial Service and the UGA Small Business Development Center  for this three-hour seminar for an overview of Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Privacy Shield. Learn how to comply, the risks of non-compliance, and resources available. The U.S. Department of Commerce, in collaboration with the UGA Small Business Development Center, will offer a half-day program to inform and help U.S. companies prepare.
