Gwinnett Interfaith Prayer Breakfast

May 3, 2018 at 7:30 am - 9:30 am

Please join the community for the inaugural Gwinnett Interfaith Prayer Breakfast at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth.

The Gwinnett observance of the National Day of Prayer will bring together leaders of various faiths to pray for our community. The National Day of Prayer was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.  It is a day that transcends differences, bringing together citizens from all backgrounds. This annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, invites people of all faiths to pray for our nation.

The Gwinnett Interfaith Prayer Breakfast is organized by a committee of faith, business, and non-profit leaders and will feature key guests, Keith Parker (Goodwill CEO), Doug Shipman (Woodruff Art Center) and Angela Harrington (Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters). The program will include cultural performances, celebration of unity and diversity and a moment of action. The aim of the inaugural breakfast is to inspire, motivate and promote a strong sense of community.

Tickets are $20 and includes a buffet breakfast. Sponsorship level tickets are also available and provide a fantastic opportunity for local businesses.
