JASG Japanese Classes: Spring Session

These Japanese web-based classes will focus on communication skills needed in (virtual) business settings and environments as well as everyday conversation. The courses will also center on inter-cultural communication and integrating important Japanese business and cultural etiquettes.

The courses also integrate the values of the Japanese market so that students will not only develop competence in the language but also acknowledge the business and cultural environments of Japan. For new students with prior experience with the Japanese language, a telephone interview will be held, if necessary, to determine a student’s appropriate class level.

Textbooks used for this course are Japanese for Busy People (JBP) and can be purchased at JASG or online and JLPT Levels N2 and N3, Somatome Reading Comprehension or Grammar (advanced Classes) which can be purchased online.

All classes will begin the week of April 19, 2021, and will continue for 8 weeks (2 hours a week).
