“Navigating The Current Changing Environment” An Intercultural Dialogue

Many of us are processing the face of change and opposing views under the umbrella of the nation’s political climate. We desire a safe platform where people can examine and discuss issues affecting their personal and professional lives.
What may be the Intercultural Communication Competencies needed?
How can we pull from our intercultural competencies to navigate this complex, charged environment, both for ourselves and with others?
What are the desired outcomes of this dialogue?

Facilitated by:
Dr. Heather Pincock is Assistant Professor of Conflict Management at Kennesaw State University. Heather earned her Ph.D. in Political Science at the Maxwell School, Syracuse University. She was an associate of Maxwell’s Program for Advancement on Research in Conflict and Collaboration (PARCC) and a doctoral fellow at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. A mediator, facilitator, and trainer, Heather is a founding member of the Atlanta chapter of Alternatives to Violence Project, which offers non-violent problem-solving workshops in prisons, communities, and schools in the greater Atlanta area.
