Ode to International Poetry

Intercultural Atlanta began in 2014 and has been providing professional development and networking opportunities for a membership of more than 300 intercultural professionals and enthusiasts. With the spring season upon us, comes a new name:

Welcome “SIETAR ATLANTA”!

Society for Intercultural Education, Training, and Research (SIETAR) is an international organization that hosts an active presence of Interculturalists in various local communities across the country and around the world. SIETAR ATLANTA would like to celebrate its beginnings during the National Poetry Month by inviting interculturalist/diversity/social justice poets, performers, and listeners to a poetry and spoken word event.

Share the celebration by bringing your wonderful talent to their April 24th opening event from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

Each person is allotted up to five minutes of open mic and there are limited slots available. Poetry should be focused on the themes of intercultural, diversity, and social justice.
