On Character: Choices that Define a Life with General Stanley McChrystal

The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs is honored to welcome General Stanley McChrystal. General McChrystal is a retired United States Army general best known for his command of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) from 2003-08, during which his organization was credited with the death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq.

He will be joined by the Honorable John Tien, former Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security and Nunn School Distinguished Professor of the Practice, for a fireside chat to discuss his book On Character: Choices that Define a Life.

Together, they will explore the insights found within its pages and examine the lessons learned from a lifetime of service.
