Power to Inspire 2026 Gala at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights
May 7 at 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
The National Center for Civil and Human Rights will host its annual Power to Inspire gala, bringing together civic, corporate, and community leaders for an evening celebrating those advancing civil and human rights. The event serves as the Center’s signature fundraiser, supporting its exhibitions, educational programs, and public engagement initiatives.
This year’s gala will honor philanthropist Billye Suber Aaron and former Georgia governor Roy E. Barnes, recognizing their leadership and long-standing commitment to justice, equity, and public service. Guests will gather for a cocktail reception, dinner program, and dessert reception while also experiencing the Center’s newly renovated galleries and interactive exhibits.
Held at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in downtown Atlanta, the event highlights the city’s ongoing role in advancing civil rights dialogue and supporting organizations working to address today’s human rights challenges.
