Over her 42-year career, Aida Cuevas has amassed a body of work, discography, fan base and array of accolades to warrant her title as “The Queen of Mariachi.” An esteemed figure in Mexico for her steadfast devotion to traditional mariachi music and her mastery of its demanding vocal forms, Cuevas has more than 39 albums and seven Latin Gammy nominations to her name. Her 2018 Latin Grammy was the first in the mariachi genre awarded to a female singer. Along with her Mexico City-based band, Mariachi Juvenil Tecalitlán, Cuevas will present an unforgettable night paying tribute to her close friend and mentor, the legendary Juan Gabriel.
