Russia’s Gas Diplomacy: The Politics of Pipelines and Pipe Dreams

Dr. Adam Stulberg is a nationally and internationally recognized expert on Russian gas diplomacy. Among his written works are: Out of Gas: Russia, Ukraine, and the Changing Geopolitics of Natural Gas, “Dilemmas and Prospects for Russian-Northeast Asia Energy Security, and “Russia and the Geopolitics of Natural Gas: Leveraging or Succumbing to Revolution.”

Dr. Stulberg is a Professor at Georgia Tech’s Sam Nunn School of International Affairs and Co-Director, Center for International Strategy, Technology, and Policy. Previously he served as a Political Consultant at RAND from 1987-1997 and as a Senior Research Associate at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS), Monterey Institute of International Studies (1997-1998). He also is a consultant to the Carnegie Corporation of New York (2000-present) and the Office of Net Assessment, Office of the U.S. Secretary of Defense (2000-present).
