A Virtual Farewell Featuring: Shane Stephens, Consul General to Ireland & William de Baets, Consul General to Belgium
A virtual road trip from Arkansas to Georgia and Alabama to North Carolina.
After four years in Atlanta Shane Stephens and William DeBaets are packing their bags and heading home. Shane represents Ireland in five states in the Southeast, and William represents Belgium in seven. They’ve learned to eat our food, understand our accent and remain absolutely neutral in our politics.
Under ordinary circumstances they would have spent the past two months saying farewell in person. Covid means a virtual road trip with Shane and William across the Southeast. Hear their best stories and test them on their knowledge of our restaurants and strange Southern ways.
