Venezuela’s New Political Threat: COVID-19

Jimmy Story, Chargé d’ Affaires (Acting Ambassador) at the Venezuela Affairs Unit, and Charles Shapiro, World Affairs Council President and former US Ambassador to Venezuela, will discuss the state of US-Venezuela relations, the impact of COVID-19 in a country where the health system has collapsed, and how the US-proposed Democratic Transition Framework provides a roadmap for a democratic transition.
