Atlanta Summit on Global Health

For the first time in history, more than half the people in low- and middle-income countries now live in cities. As urbanization continues to accelerate, particularly in poorer nations, it is time for a global commitment to make those cities livable and healthy for their inhabitants.

In its 8th edition, the Atlanta Global Health Summit will explore the theme of urban environments and health. Panels and fireside chats will touch upon global heath concerns that affect cities and ways to manage these issues: HIV/AIDS, non-communicable and infectious diseases and digital health.
