Virtual Transatlantic Networking Day “Azubis go USA”
Projects with and within the United States play an especially important role for the Joachim Herz Foundation on account of its founder’s close ties with the country. The Foundation believes that it is now more important than ever to deepen transatlantic exchange and understanding.
You are hence cordially invited to join for the virtual Networking Day which will
focus on the German-American Trainee-Exchange. Together with German and U.S. participants, you will discuss how virtual tools can enhance the international exchange of apprentices and young professionals in times of travel restrictions, and which virtual formats could best supplement regular programs. There will also be information presented on the programs “GATE” and “Azubis go USA” and sharing of the best practices regarding professional training exchanges from both sides of the Atlantic. Last but not least, they will offer numerous opportunities to connect and network.
The event will start with welcoming addresses by Darion Akins, U.S. Consul General in
Hamburg, and Dr. Nina Lemmens, Executive Board Member of the Joachim Herz Foundation.
The conference languages are English and German.
