The Japanese commercial music industry is bigger than that of Britain or Germany, and there have been hundreds of groundbreaking Japanese artists, composers and producers putting out thousands of songs that moved the hearts of millions of listener. Dr. Capital has been studying and performing J-Pop for the past 25 years, and is also an Associate Professor of commercial music in the Division of Jazz Studies of the University of North Texas College of Music.
