Webinar: Microactivities in Teaching International Business

May 1, 2020 at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

For instructors, one knows how challenging it can be to maintain the attention of an audience for more than 15 minutes. Microactivities are tools designed to engage students into the learning environment and make classrooms more dynamic.ย These short-term exercises developed for the classroom can be used to deliver engaging experiences while reinforcing key IB concepts.

Join for a timely conversation with Dr. Salomao De Farias,ย a visiting professor of International Business at Georgia State University, as he shares classroom innovations in teaching International Business courses.

In addition to holding a Mastering Online Teaching certification, Professor De Farias holds a PhD in Management/Marketing from the School of Business and Economics at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil and has more than 25 years of teaching both graduate and undergraduate levels. He is a Scholar in Residence Fulbright recipient, and guest lecturer at the NHTV Breda University, Holland. His research interests relate to International Marketing and Consumer Issues.

This program is open to all, but registration is required.
