Georgia-based companies wanting to increase their export sales are invited to participate in Export GA, a six-session program that teaches export basics and assists companies to make sales abroad.
The program, which is to be held September through January, is seeking 10 export-ready companies or existing exporters with sales of $1 million or more that have exportable products or services.
Six half-day sessions focus on developing and implementing an international business plan.
The sessions are to be held at the U.S. Export Assistance Center in downtown Atlanta. Summit National Bank is providing a $300 scholarship, bringing the cost down to $750 for all sessions.
The program is hosted by the International Trade Center of the University of Georgia’s Small Business Development Center, the U.S. Commercial Service and the Georgia Department of Economic Development, with support from Summit National Bank.
