The Georgia Department of Agriculture is hosting a food industry trade mission to Brazil and Venezuela, June 16-20 and June 20-23, respectively.

          The mission to Sao Paulo, Brazil, includes attending the FISPAL Food & Beverage Show, a minimum of five one-on-one meetings with pre-qualified Brazilian food industry representatives, market briefings arranged by the Southern United States Trade Association’s Brazilian food industry consultant and guided supermarket tours.

          Participants in the Caracas, Venezuela, trade mission will attend a minimum of four meetings with pre-qualified Venezuelan food industry representatives, briefings arranged by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Trade Office, guided supermarket tours and a market briefing by the USDA agricultural trade attaché to Venezuela.

          The cost is $500, which includes meetings interpreters, local transportation and guided tours. Airfare, accommodations and expenses not included.
