German business software developer CAS hired a new vice president of sales for its Atlanta-based U.S. subsidiary Oct. 15.
Scott McKenzie’s sales team at CAS Americas includes six new global account managers, appointments company officials say will enhance its presence in the U.S. market.
“This organization expansion represents the first in a series of initiatives to propel CAS forward in the market, as we move to generate demand, enhance growth, and capitalize on the opportunities to drive business value for the largest (consumer packaged goods) market in the world,” said Todd Fryburger, the subsidiary’s CEO.
Kaiserslautern, Germany-based CAS develops software designed for the consumer goods industry, including account management, marketing and trade promotion products.
The company has other subsidiaries in Australia, France, Singapore and the United Kingdom and has a number of international customers.
These include Camden, N.J.-based Campbell Soup Co., home appliance producer Electrolux Group of Stockholm, Sweden, and Leuven, Belgium-based brewery group InBev, which purchased Anheuser-Busch Inc. in June.
Mr. McKenzie formerly held positions at software quality assurance company Mercury Interactive, and at Hewlett-Packard Co., which acquired Mercury in 2006.
