In 2011, a variety of organizations highlighted the work of GlobalAtlanta, which has been covering Atlanta‘s international business news through various media since 1991.
The Atlanta City Council issued a proclamation drafted by Councilman Kwanza Hall citing our efforts to organize Global Connect, a large networking event that showcased the city’s international flavor.
At its annual alumni awards ceremony November, Georgia State University‘s Robinson College of Business named Phil Bolton, publisher of GlobalAtlanta and president of Agio Press Inc., an honorary alumnus.
The Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce also presented Mr. Bolton with a global award for his contributions to the city’s international business scene.
The Istanbul Center recognized him for his educational work.
