Gov. Nathan Deal has joined the list of high-level speakers at the U.S.-Russia Business Council‘s annual meeting, which will be held in Atlanta Oct. 22-24.

The major conference at the Four Seasons Hotel is to address themes including Russia’s regulatory system after entering the World Trade Organization, the impact of the upcoming presidential elections on U.S.-Russia relations and the Russian government’s economic policy outlook under the new Vladimir Putin administration.

Business leaders to speak at the conference include Clyde Tuggle, senior vice president and chief of public affairs at Coca-Cola Co.John Faraci, chairman and CEO of International Paper Co.; and Klaus Kleinfeld, chairman and CEO of Alcoa Inc. and chairman of the council.

Government leaders to join Mr. Deal in speaking include Sergei Belyakov, Russia’s deputy minister of economic development; Sergei Kislyak, Russia’s ambassador to the United States; and Anatoly Chubais, chairman of RUSNANO, a state-owned company looking to commercialize research in nanotechnology.
