The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce named its Movers and Makers winners in March.

Most of Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce’s Movers and Makers award winners announced last month are internationally engaged, with some managing supply chains that span the globe and others exporting Georgia-made products all over the world.

Manufacturing of the year award winners included AES Clean Technology (small manufacturer category, 1-49 employees), which creates clean rooms for manufacturing plants and has installations in Canada, Mexico, Central America, Puerto Rico and Europe.

Exporter Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration won in the medium manufacturer category for firms with 50-149 employees, while Hussmann Corp., another global refrigeration company based in St. Louis with plants in China, New Zealand and Mexico to complement its Gwinnett operations, took home the large manufacturer of the year award, reserved for companies with more than 150 people on staff.

Supply chain winners included Performance Trucking and Target Metal Systems, which was named the community’s “Most Valuable Provider.” The corporate citizen award went to Mitsubishi Electric, a Japanese subsidiary.

Gene Long, president of distribution at National DCP, the $2 billion supply chain management cooperative for the franchisees of Dunkin’ Donuts, gave the keynote speech at the event. The coffee chain has more than 3,100 stores in 30 countries outside the U.S.
