The event is set to be held at Yashobhoomi, the India International Convention and Expo Centre.

Atlanta-based Direct Resource Group is recruiting Georgia companies for subsidized access to one of India’s largest construction materials shows in April.

The Vibrant Buildcon 2025 show April 13-16 is the latest in a slate of international events to offer buyers from Georgia and other states free entry and covered expenses.

Longtime logistics professional David Gault, former president and current board member at the Georgia Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, told Global Atlanta that India is taking a more active role in this space as trade tensions with China ratchet up.

“This event is a major step forward to the Indian government actively promoting their industries that can rise now as an option to China’s dominance in these commodities,” said Mr. Gault, CEO of Direct Resource Group, who is leading the trip in partnership with B2B Edge Consultants.

Already, India has ascended to the No. 9 spot among Georgia import markets, with the Port of Savannah seeing rapid increases in container traffic from the country.

For qualified buyers, the conference just outside Delhi is providing reimbursement of airfare up to $2,150 and up to four nights in four- or five-star accommodation. Already, buyers from Georgia and seven other states have registered to join the mission with hopes of tapping into the anticipated 200,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors from 100 countries with products in the following categories:

  • Ceramic Tiles and Sanitary Ware
  • Marble Granite and Stone
  • Hardware, Bath fittings, Sink
  • Pipe and Fittings
  • Timber, Plywood, Laminates, Flooring
  • Paints, Gypsum Board

The trip comes on the heels of a recent GIACC trade mission to Coimbatore, India.
