GlassesUSA.com, a subsidiary of Israel’s Optimax Eyewear, is set to expand its production near the Atlanta airport by 50 percent following a banner year that brought rising demand and the introduction of a new luxury platform.
The company experienced 30 percent growth in 2025 after launching OTTICA, its online boutique for upscale designer brands, and FORK Eyewear, an in-house sunglasses label.
These new offerings came on top of the launch of the company’s artificial-intelligence-powered glasses, Vision AI, and growth in its core offering: frames ordered online, manufactured in-house and shipped directly to consumers from a facility in College Park.
The company’s B2B arm, United Vision Plan, which allows employers to provide (non-insurance) vision benefits through its portal, also onboarded key new clients, the company said.
Daniel Rothman, CEO and Co-Founder of Optimax Investments, said 2025 was a “breakout year” for the company as it continued to blend automation and AI with localized production.

“We’re seeing a real shift in the market, and our growth proves that our ecosystem model is working,” Mr. Rothman said in a news release. “We aren’t just selling frames; we’re using our AI tools to change how people find them, making it easy to pick the perfect pair from a massive selection. By moving into new segments like luxury and streetwear, we’re making sure we have an answer for every type of customer.”
Optimax was founded in 2008 in Tel Aviv. The news release didn’t specify whether job increases or new square footage were expected to accompany the expansion of production capacity. The facility deploys shelf-to-person robots to aid in order fulfillment.
