Xebia, an IT consultancy with globally dispersed executive and engineering teams but a North American headquarters in Atlanta, is deepening its reach in Switzerland market through the acquisition of SwissQ.
SwissQ counts large financial institutions like Credit Suisse and Zurich Insurance as well as manufacturers like Siemens and Geberit among its clients, with 90 percent of its revenues coming from IT consulting. Its offices are located in Zurich and Bern, the capital.
The 120 members of the company will join the Xebia team, which will total more than 4,000 employees across the world.
In announcing its rationale behind the deal, Xebia focused on SwissQ’s experience leading clients through complete digital transformations, as well as its IT training capabilities and a series of “knowledge-sharing communities” and technology conferences it has operated, some for up to 16 years running.
Based in the Netherlands, Xebia has offices in the U.S., Europe, India, Vietnam, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.
The U.S. affiliate has an office address in downtown Atlanta pointing toward what seems to be a condominium development. A company spokesman didn’t respond as to how many employees work for the company out of Atlanta.
