Polyvision, an Atlanta-based writing surface provider with factories in Belgium and Oklahoma, has named a new CEO with global experience and vision.
Based in Johns Creek with offices in India, Hong Kong and New York, the company manufactures what it calls CeramicSteel white boards as well as chalk boards and architectural panels for cladding.

The company’s new CEO is Kevin McCoy, who comes immediately from his role as founder of KDM Consulting. He previously completed a 16-year tenure at National Office Furniture with various roles culminating in a stint as president.
At National, he helped expand the company’s global brand presence, and physical footprint, growing sales to record levels while also leading the redevelopment of its headquarters in partnership with the architecture and design firm Gensler, according to a news release.
The company already does business in 65 countries but has plans to further grow the reach of its CeramicSteel technology. The company not only sells its own line of collaboration tools for offices and schools and privacy panels branded by Steelcase (a former Polyvision owner) but it also supplies its durable, magnetic surface material to other manufacturers.
“As we focus on advancing our CeramicSteel offering globally, we remain committed to rapid growth and to extending our partnerships in the years ahead. I am honored to join such a dynamic and talented team,” Mr. McCoy said in the release.
Polyvision is owned by the Illinois-based private-equity firm Industrial Opportunity Partners, which acquired the company in 2020. Shortly thereafter, Polyvision bought display board maker Marsh.
