Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs and small business owners in Atlanta are invited to attend the Latino Law School, sponsored by the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association and the Georgia Supreme Court Commission, that begins Wed., Jan. 17, 6-8:00 pm.
The course covers employment law, business law, immigration law, constitutional law, domestic law, the civil justice system and the tort system. Classes are taught in Spanish by local attorneys.
The school is also recommended for Spanish-speaking employees of local companies to familiarize themselves with Georgia’s legal system.
The cost is $20 for eight sessions that will be held every Wednesday at the GHCC, 1961 North Druid Hills Rd., Suite 201B, Atlanta, GA 30329.
This is the school’s second year. There are three, eight-week semesters per year, and this year, each semester will be held in different cities throughout Georgia. The next semester’s classes will meet in Gainesville.
