Lucy Henner, president of Atlanta-based Markets Worldwide Inc., a boutique marketing firm that she launched in 1994, is a founding member of a new consortium of international, senior-level public relations consultants.
Launched March 5, Infinite Latitude was initiated by Ulrich Gartner, founder of Gartner Communications in Frankfurt, Germany. The group evolved in late 2011 through the social networking site LinkedIn.
According to Mrs. Henner, the site attracted the interest of senior consultants around the globe with backgrounds ranging from managing global public relations departments to advising government officials.
A qualification process then brought together the the founding members who collaborate virtually using online tools, video and file-sharing platforms including Skype, Google, LinkedIn and Facebook.
The consortium connects 24 corporate communications professionals in China, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Poland, Portugal, India, Italy, New Zealand, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Ecuador as well as the United States.
“We live and work where our clients do business and are excited to share this multi-lingual, multi-cultural PR expertise to help them connect with their markets,” she told GlobalAtlanta.
