A conference about French direct investments in North America will be held in Atlanta May 20-21 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel downtown.
Michel de Rosen, chairman and CEO of RhÙne-Poulenc Rorer Inc., the pharmaceutical company, and other industry leaders will be joined by representatives of the French government, professors, financial executives and professionals who specialize in strategic analysis.
They will discuss in panel and roundtable formats the extent and nature of French investment in North America. Case studies and analysis of the strategies of different French companies also will be discussed as will the future prospects for French investment here.
Georgia Tech Center for International Business Education and Research, the Conseillers du Commerce ExtÈrieure de la France, the French-American Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta, and Gean Overseas Inc. are the conference organizers.
The conference also has the active support of the Consulate General of France and the French Trade Commission. On the evening of Friday, May 21, the French American chamber will hold its annual gala event, “Passport to France.”
Cost for the events range from $65 to $285 depending on how many functions are attended.
